Doing the right thing

The Perrigo Company Charitable Foundation mission is an extension of our company's vision to make lives better in the communities we serve. The foundation is a wholly non-profit organisation, proudly funded by Perrigo Company plc since 2000 and specialises in community engagement.

The Foundation is dedicated to supporting the organisations and programs that enhance the health, well-being and education of individuals and communities worldwide. In the UK, there are four different ways we support our local communities:

We match the fund-raising achievements of employees.

Volunteer Programme

We support employees as they serve their communities.

Actions speak louder than words

We are proud of the way our employees pull together each year to devote their time and energy to helping worthwhile causes. Employees also support nationwide fundraising days, such as World Mental Health Day and Macmillan Coffee Mornings. Across different sites, individuals take on a myriad of different challenges to raise funds. Here are just a few:

Perrigo London

Perrigo UK dedicated a month to fundraising and saw a combination of ‘bake and lunch’ sales, auctions and raffles to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support. They also donated time and resources to Vauxhall City Farm through our Volunteer Programme.

Perrigo Barnsley

Barnsley Hospice provides specialist palliative care to local people with active and progressive life-limiting illnesses, such as cancer, heart disease and Parkinson’s disease. Our donations have helped support the refurbishment of the inpatient unit to help patients and their families feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.

Perrigo Braunton

A team from Braunton’s Quality Control Lab embarked on the South West Tough Mudder (10 miles long with 25 obstacles!) to raise money for two local causes close to their heart: The North Devon Hospice and North Devon Animal Ambulance.
